What are Floor Sealers?

‍Fibron offers epoxy concrete floor sealers and protective coatings for residential, commercial, and industrial surfaces. Epoxy coatings are an effective solution to protecting surfaces from abrasion, chemicals, corrosion, staining, water, and salt.  Epoxy floor sealers form an impermeable layer to protect surfaces from moisture and other contaminants from damaging concrete or steel surfaces. 

High-quality epoxy sealers with topical sealer and penetration densifier sealers can block 100% of contaminates from reaching the surface. Fibron offers a variety of sealing solutions such as concrete floor sealers, urethane or epoxy coatings. Each is available in water, solvent, acrylic or solid epoxy bases with a variety of different colours to choose from.

Topical Floor Sealers

Topical sealers offer protection from stains and chemicals. These sealers require surface preparation prior to application to optimize the lifespan and improve adhesion. The typical lifespan is 1-5 years, however, epoxy and urethane coatings can last significantly longer and offer UV protection.

Decorative Sealers

All systems are versatile in design, easy to clean, seamless, durable, and slip-resistant while being cost-effective. Epoxy decorative flooring can be coated with an aliphatic two-component topcoat to enhance scratch resistance and UV stability.Epoxy Colour Flake System requires two coatings. While the second coat is still wet, color flake chips or quartz are added to the surface. Once this layer dries, aliphatic two-component urethane or polyaspartic topcoat is then installed to seal the surface. This offers clients a number of colour choices to match their aesthetic preferences.
